ROSTER
You may expand your roster to 24 athletes by trading or signing free agents. Your total roster may never exceed 24 athletes.
Regardless of the size of your total roster, only 11 athletes will be active for a given week. It will be your responsibility to produce a starting lineup from your roster. You can leave it the same each week, change a couple of positions, or change the whole thing; it's up to you.
Of the 22 athletes on your roster after the draft, 11 will be active. Your ACTIVE roster will consist of:
1 Quarterback
The athletes that will initially comprise your active roster are automatically selected based on last season’s fantasy point totals. You will be able to change your active roster before each week of the season, including Week 1.
You have the option of playing one Running Back and four Receivers, or two Running Backs and three Receivers, since these are the two combinations most frequently employed in professional football. You cannot have more than two Running Backs active at any time. For the purposes of STATS Fantasy Football, Tight Ends are considered Receivers.
With respect to your bench or reserve roster, as long as you have the required number of athletes activated at each position, you can have the remaining reserve spots filled out however you choose.
