In addition to the three division winners, one wild-card team also will make the playoffs. The wild card will be the team with the best won-lost record in the league, excluding the three division winners. If two or more teams have identical or equivalent won-lost records, the first tiebreaker will be total SFF points for the season. If necessary, the second and third tiebreakers will be win-loss records in head-to-head match-ups, and total SFF points scored in head-to-head match-ups. The last tiebreaker is a coin toss. When forming a playoff roster, each playoff participant will be able to obtain at significant discount athletes that were on his roster at the end of the regular season. Other playoff participants will also be able to obtain these athletes for their playoff rosters, but will have to pay full price.
